| Introduction | In May of 2007, I went looking for a dog. A big, smart, willing dog, who would be my helper. Duncan retired in January 2013 and passed on March 30, 2016. He did a wonderful job. He is loved, and will be missed. . In July 2013, Keeper, a female Bernese Mountain Dog, entered our lives. She's still learning and polishing skills, but she's out in public, goes to my job with me, and is doing good work. She makes a lot of things possible that I couldn't do on my own. She'll never be Duncan, but she is herself, and that's more than enough. |
