Introduction Johanna's writing credits run the gamut from government reports, newspaper and magazine columns and essays, to special interest newslettters. She is the author of two non-fiction books focusing on unusual events in Canadian history, as well as a narrative history of Sable Island and a biography of Sir Charles Tupper. Johanna is one of four authors who contributed to an anthology of unusual Christmas Stories. Johanna has a gift for bringing history and personalities to life with vivid imagery, and loves to tell the tale of everyday people whose stories tell us much about Canada and the spirit of Canadians. She has recently completed a biography of Don Messer, titled "Don Messer: The Man Behind the Music". Johanna is a professional member of: The New Brunswick Association of Social Workers; The Professional Writers Association of Canada; The Writers Union of Canada; The Writers Federation of New Brunswick; and the Writers Federation of Nova Scotia.
