| Introduction | I was raised by a family of rogue Japanese Snow monkeys in northern Saskatchewan, with whom I lived comfortably until I was ten years old. At this point I left my loving (albeit malodorous) foster family to embark on a journey that eventually led me to Cape Horn, where I became an apprentice to a master tuba-maker until I was eighteen. I grew tired of the Chilean oompah bands and longed for the sweet sounds of American Rock music, so I was drawn back to the States, where I carved my first guitar from the heart of a 90-foot maple tree, and strung it with six different gauges of barbed wire. I neglected to make the obligatory contract with the devil in order to assure my fame, so after a few years of attempted “rockin out”, I dedicated myself to the linguistic arts. The rest, as they say, is history. |
