Introduction	I'm a somewhat contrary woman who, in March of 2008, decided to leave corporate life behind and pursue a dream. The resulting misadventures are documented here, as I reinvent my life in France. On a side note, I write as I speak ... lots of run-on sentences, misapplied ellipses and unexpectedly plentiful parenthetical pauses. This is unlikely to change.

Favorite Music	Edith Piaf, Dragonette, The Bird and The Bee, Tony Bennett, Gypsy Kings, Django Reinhardt, Van Morrison, Dido, Frank Sinatra, The O'Jays, Al Green, White Stripes, The Jets, Agustin Lara ... etc. etc. etc.

If you drive on a parkway why don't they make the whole plane out of that?
