| Introduction | I am a professionally qualified accountant who spent the last 15 years upto 2008 as a Director of Finance in 3 large organisations (over £100 million) and grasped the opportunity to take early retirement at the age of 50 to follow my passion of National Hunt Horse Racing. After a year of lazily following a variety of tipsters (and losing), I decided to apply what I have learnt over 35 years of gambling and set up my own web-site dedicated to my real passion, namely all racing at Cheltenham and the festival in particular. Having had a really successful three seasons I decided to give that up as it was taking too much time to administer and organise for the number of members I had. I recognised that if I had continued and really pushed I could have been more successful but the stress of losing runs and the admin took the fun out of it. So I decided to run this blog again for discipline. |
