IntroductionI was raised on the north shore of Lake Ontario between the cities of Toronto and Kingston. I have always loved the water and been fascinated with the many cargo ships that I would see cruising the blue waters of the great lake plying thier trade. I learned to dive in the late 90's and a lot of my dive experience has been exploring the many amazing shipwrecks of the great lakes. Now I am a PADI Scuba Instructor. I have trained divers in Canada, USA, French Polynesia, and Thailand. I have travelled the world and had the chance to dive some of the greatest locations the sport has to offer. I am a father of two, my daughter Cassandra and my son Carter. Both are also certified divers. I love to meet new people and share stories with them. I love the friendships that my hobby scuba diving, or passion as it may be helps me build.
InterestsScuba Diving, Travelling, good food, good friends, hearing good stories, telling good stories, and from time to time making up a good story
Favorite moviesI like so many movies, action, adventure, historical but I would have to say my all time favorite movie has to be Gone With the Wind. I have watched it dozens of times but can’t help tuning in every time I see it listed.
Favorite musicThey say music sooths the soul I could not agree more. I love it all! Classic Rock, Pop, Classical, but as a boy growing up in the heart of farmland I tend to have the dial set on a country station. When I was working in Tahiti my girlfriend came to visit me on the ship I was working on and brought me the greatest gift ever. An underwater I-Pod. Wow I love that gadget. I was now able to join two of my greatest passions music and diving.
Favorite booksI tend to be more inclined to fall in love with an author more that just a book. I will pick up a book burn through it and then search out every other book that author wrote I read Raise the Titanic when I was in High School and became a huge fan of both the writings of Clive Cussler and his hero Dirk Pitt and since then I have read every book Clive has ever published. I would say that those books, among other things led me to become enchanted with the mysteries of the deep. Also Bernard Cornwell has created a fantastic collection of historically accurate fiction that has kept me entertained and even a little educated.
