Introduction	Close your eyes. Close your eyes, be still and just listen for a moment. Listen to your breathing, comforting in its persistent, tenacious regularity. Reach out, to the voices that surround you, vivacious laughter, and jovial bouts of dialogue, all reassuringly singing in your ear drums, placating your fears of aloneness. Grasp with covetous fingers for the security blanket of noise, embroidered with the emotional pleasures of conversation, and tucked neatly in the lining, find the essence of humanity. Perhaps just now, for the briefest of times reader, a momentary interlude from your reality, you gleaned a little of mine.
