| Introduction | After teaching for 22 years I retired to write stories and novels for children and young adults. I have two novels published: Dragons for Kris and Dragon Hatchling. One deals with emotional abuse, the other involves the school bully. A third novel, Second Chance, is being published next year. It is set in Kilgore Texas in 1930 just before the Daisy Bradford Discovery Well brought in the oil boom changing everyone's life. |
| Interests | I love writing and speaking in classrooms about reading and writing. I help with our local Habitat for Humanity camp, serve in our community food pantry, and facillitate parenting classes. I belong to an iris society and enjoy working in our flower beds. I enjoy our children, onr granddaughter, and our three dogs and cats. |
