You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?
Funny you should ask! That's not steam. Ouch, the burns! Actually, I sing in the shower fairly infrequently. Sometimes I sing along with my noisy hot water tap in the kitchen, though—basically to let it know it doesn't have to scream like a banshee.
