Introduction	I believe in free speech and telling it like it is. I hate racism, sexism, and injustice in general. I am a happily married middle-aged white woman. I have an adult son from a previous marriage long ago. I was born in Toronto but at 9 years old, was taken from my mother along with my younger sister and brother and sent to live with my father and his new wife and 3 kids in a small town. They were abusive parents. So were her kids. Classic Cinderella scenario although I am sure many people will roll their eyes with a "yeah yeah" attitude when they hear that. It seems there is so much talk about abuse lately, that mainstream is sick of hearing it. So I just move on. No sense in dwelling over spilled milk. Counselling, stubborn will, a belief in God and an understanding husband have given me the confidence I need in life. Now all that is left undone, is to write about it.

Land of Milk and Honey...reference to wealth. Therefore, the word honey conjurs up thoughts of money.
