Introduction	This is a collection of work from the past year and a half in A Level Art and I think it displays my resourceful and creative attitude towards 3D Design. Each project had a different theme which required me to use materials in different new and interesting ways making me think: What's the next step? What else can I try? 3D Design appeals to me because it will teach me new skills and techniques which I would like to apply to a future career in the craft or production world. I feel I have a strong foundation in all different types of art because of visits to various galleries (local and abroad) from the Pitti Palace in Italy to MOMA in New York to the National Gallery here in England. But, there is a level of practicality which accompanies my artistic interest, leading me to 3D design. Because 3D Design is paring Art and Design with a useful function it's elevating it from the pretentious level of 'Art for the sake of Art' to something accessible and useful to more than one class of people.
