| Introduction | My entire life I have had so many ideas rolling around my mind that needed to be expressed. We all do. We are all in some way or another looking for ways to say to the world that we are here, and that we matter. Some of us do this in ways that are not nurturing to ourselves or others. I certainly am guilty of that. I exhibited attitudes and behaviors for many years that were not that of someone grateful to be here. At some point in our lives I believe that we come to a crossroad. Either we choose to let our true selves out for the world to see, or we continue to cover that part of ourselves over. We are given a choice through some sort of grace. I personally believe that this grace comes from a Power outside of ourselves. This blog is me coming to the crossroad in life where I got to decide whether to continue to hide who I am, or allow that light from within to begin to shine. I personally believe that in order for our planet to heal from so many of the painful experiences currently happening we must begin to celebrate the differences between us. |
