Introduction Published playwright author Trish Sugarek, is from Seattle. her acting career began 1978 after two years training at Southcoast Repertory.After 20 years of acting across the country, she went on to direct and began writing in 1995. The subject of her plays are diverse.Her work has been featured in play festivals and community theatre venues in New York, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Chicago and Texas,Washington DC and Boston.Samuel French published Trish’s plays The Guyer Girls and Emma and the Lost Unicorn and The Exciting Exploits of an Effervescent Elf.Encore Studio Theatre inDC produced one of her kid’s fables. Dreamchasers Children’s Theatre produced The Guyer Girls and Emma and the Lost Unicorn in 2008. Dreamchasers will be producing The Exciting Exploits of an Effervescent Elf later in 2009. "The Waltz" was published in a text book in Cordoba, Argentina.A publisher was quoted was saying, “I think EXCITING EXPLOITS will be a great new title. The humor is light and fun and the message themes perfectly delivered.”Trish’s adult drama plays have been produced in many cities in Play Festivals and community theatre. Trish is adapting her fables into children’s books.
