About me

Introduction Matthew Howe is a writer and cinematographer.

His work as a cinematographer has appeared on the Discovery Channel, TLC, the History Channel, Lifetime, A&E, AMC and the Food Network. His cinematic adventures include cruising below the surface of the Baltic Sea on a Swedish submarine, chasing stolen art through the IRA underworld, hunting Bigfoot in the wilds of Northern California, and re‐possessing a warlord‐seized freighter in post‐revolution Haiti.

His work as a screenwriter includes a number of prime‐time documentary scripts for The History Channel and The Discovery Channel.

In addition to shooting more than a dozen films for Sultan Film Productions,Howe also shot the indie features Parallel Sons and Desolation Angels

Howe is the author of dozens of short stories, and he is currently working on a novel.

Howe graduated from Purchase College in 1986. He lives in New York with his wife and son.
