| Introduction | Ever since I first picked up a paintbrush in 1983, I have been hooked on painting.. I enjoy the outdoors, sketching our beautiful Northwest and belong to a weekly sketching group, Whidbey Island Sketchers. My artistic past includes influence from the Orient, Finland and our own historic roots of Folk Art. |
| Interests | Gardener, hiking with the dog, sketching and hydrofit at the pool. |
| Favorite movies | Mostly foreign and I can never remember names. We have a small movie theatre in Langley that shows foreign or indie films during the week. |
| Favorite music | Classic, blues, 60's rock, country, Sting, Songbird by Eva Cassidy even Everlast. I find hard rock painful, but try to tolerate it when trapped in a car. |
| Favorite books | Always reading. I love the tongue in cheek qualities of Evanovich to the authors that make you want to know what happened after the book ended. Ann Patchett, Leif Enger, and all my art books. |
