| Introduction | I started knitting in summer 2012, crochet followed in early 2013, and my hands have never really been idle since. I love to sew for my girls, I spin both on drop spindles and my trusty little Kiwi. Well, maybe it's not a big surprise, but I have started to dye yarns and fibres ,too. I have dabbled in cardweaving, and would love to pick it up again once my youngest is a bit older (at the moment I just never have enough quiet time to warp my inkle loom). Instead, I have started to weave with a simple rigid heddle set-up. One craft that I would really love to add to my repertoire is naalbinding - I've tried it once and it was fun. Oh, and maybe you'll even catch me cross-stitching again - something I haven't done in... oh well... more than twenty years. My ravelry name is FeoragRuadh. And just in case you're wondering, feòrag ruadh is Scottish Gaelic for red squirrel (I omitted the accent for my login name). |
