Introduction	I have been a kindergarten teacher since 2000. I have been lucky to be at the same school the entire time. I really love what I do and each year I learn even more! I am married and the proud pet parent of two pups. I am DONE with my Master's Degree from Walden University. I am waiting on grades and my diploma. My degree will be in reading and math, grades K-5. I have enjoyed learning so much, but it has been lots of work. Would I do it again? YES!! Will I go for my PhD? NO WAY! I also have been presenting math workshops for the past two years. I started in my district in 2003 and took a break in 2005. I then joined a math collaborative at OLLU. The project director brought me aboard to teach workshops for PreK-2nd grade. I've been doing that since Fall of 2009. I also recently presented at CAMT. I recently won my 8th NEF grant and I was selected to be Teacher of the Year for my school. I cried when I was told! I am so honored to be representing my school. There are so many fine people that work at Helotes Elementary! I look forward to making and sharing so many ideas.
