| Introduction | I majored in history at Illinois Wesleyan University. Following that I went to the University of Virginia and studied architectural history and historic preservation. I received my Masters in 2010. My area of interest was in 20th century American architecture. My thesis was about the rebuilding after the 1927 Mississippi River Floods. My interests include history, architecture, preservation, reuse of historic spaces, and post-disaster recovery. |
