| Introduction | My name is Pranav Upadhyaya, and I’d like to begin with a confession: Writing about myself here today is one of the scariest things I’ve done in a while. I grew up in Bangalore, India. In this chaotic world, I was mostly silent. From a young age, I struggled with anxiety, especially social anxiety. Conversations that came naturally to others felt like an impossible puzzle to me. I kind of liked the comfort of being inside my home. It was my safe space, and I was reluctant to go out of my safe space. But I wasn’t idle in that solitude. I always like to try something new. I tried writing stories, comics, and building electronic projects. However, I discovered something that changed my life – that is, coding. I was just a child when I started, but I found myself endlessly curious about how things worked. While I struggled to speak with people, I found joy in making computers listen to me. Code was predictable, logical and easy to grasp. I started out with Windows command shelling and moved on to Visual Basic. That is why I created my blog at the age of 27. To keep myself busy and to provide my readers with the best technical content I can. |
