| Introduction | I finally have the space to say it aloud. And I want to clarify a really important point. In the past 4 years some peopel looked at me thinking it's fun and easy moving abroad, pursuing your career which, hopefully, will take you travelling a lot...They think you are entertaining yourself on an endless holiday, and one day, you will begin a normal life. Point n 1: THIS is my normal life. It might not be normal as the majority perceive the concept of normality, but it is indeed my daily life. Point n 2: It s not easy, it is not fun. I had and will have great moments, which I never could have otherwise, but it is not a long holiday. It requires effort, planning, motivation. You have to face the fact that you leave your friends behind. You have to I consider myself lucky. I Know what I want to be when I grow up...(so to speak, of course). I want to be a realif worker. Great! I have a goal to work for. I'm motivated, I love travelling, I'm open minded...there is just one, tiny, insignificant detail. You don't become realif worker over night. |
