| Introduction | I am a reformed wild woman, mildly outspoken, adventurous, inquisitive, kind, caring, sweet, forth right, and a driven addiction breaker. I am active in running, strength training and emotional therapy. No joke. I started this health journey in 2007 at 450lbs. In 2009, after losing almost 100lbs on my own, I needed help at 373lbsn and I had the gastric by-pass surgery (RNY). I am still working diligently towards the healthiest lifestyle I can. Many ups and downs, and a shitload of baby steps. In 2013, I reached a goal of joining the Canadian Armed Forces. I trained almost three years to do so. I am currently posted in CFB Edmonton, as a Supply Tech. My way is not THE way, but it's the way that's working for me. Even if some days it doesn't feel like it. That's all part of the process, and my life journey. I believe in chivalry, sisterhood, romance, spirituality, structure, self discipline and giving back where I can. I am grateful for this transformation opportunity, and to evolve, into my truest form. I am fighting my way out, emerging from the darkness to shine like I've never shone before. |
