| Introduction | I have been teaching for 18 years. I have taught from grade K to 12. Most of my time has been spent teaching grade three at MMH. Many of my former students remember me as the chicken lady. As every year we hatch chicks in the class and grade three turns into a farmyard. I have been at this school for many years and I love what I do. I love to have fun while learning. Kids spend the majority of their day in the school and it is important that they are engaged, challenged and feel successful. When I am not teaching I am found in a rink watching hockey or figure skating. If not we are on the slopes in the winter and the greens in the summer. I love the outdoors, being outside recharges me. I wish somehow I could take my passion for teaching and combine it into the outdoors. I haven't figured this out yet. |
