IntroductionI grew up in Japan with six siblings. I live in a little town back in the Japanese hills, where there is no train, no bus, no store of any kind, and only two soda machines. Our town is surrounded by hills, which are great for hiking, but it means that to get out of the town you have to go up. The closest bus stop is a twenty minute walk away. The closest train station you can't walk to, due to the narrow Japanese roads (it's dangerous! Take the bus or get a ride!). The nearest convenient store (not so convenient in our case) you can walk to in an hour. If you can drive than you don't have a problem, the thing is that it is hard to get a drivers' license in Japan. hmm... I like my town. It's very unusual and peaceful even though it's not that convenient for getting places.
