About me

GenderFemale
LocationAmherst, MA, United States
IntroductionI studied communications and linguistics and I worked in the tourism industry for 8 years. When I became a mom I decided to learned Hair dressing and Make-up art to spend more time at home and work independently. I'm also a Spanish tutor and Spanish substitute at the Amherst Schools. I love dancing and exercising, I have dance in different folk music groups in my country, Colombia since I was a little girl. I grow up admiring the music as part of our culture. When I listen to the music my blood starts running faster and I can stop moving. Latin music is a mix o many rhythms and history, I like reading and watching books and videos to learn the proper movements and posture of the great variety of Latin rhythms.I found Zumba in 2007 and immediately felt in love with it. Now I'm a ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network)being part of this organization keeps me updated with the latest music and choreographic material to make a great class. I'm an active person and I love Zumba because it is the perfect combination of dancing and exercise. Zumba gives you the best of both worlds!.
