| Introduction | I grew up with a mother who loved to cook, and to this day the best place to find her is baking away in her country kitchen. She kept our house filled with delicious food, from snickerdoodle cookies and fresh blueberry pie to family favorites like meatball stroganoff and homemade turkey dressing. Family dinners at my house were a must, despite the chaos. I was able to see, firsthand, the way food could not only nourish us, but also bring us together day after day. From then on I was hooked! I knew cooking was an activity I wanted to explore more and share with others. In the past few years I have become more adventurous and love diving into new recipes, even those that call for ingredients I have never used.
