| Introduction | A longtime media and communications professional, I have worked on daily newspapers, monthly magazines, professional journals, news and b-to-b websites, marketing magazines, and e-newsletters, as well as in marketing and PR. Currently, I am Director of Alumni Communications at Harvard Business School. Previously, I was Editor in Chief of CCI Crosby Publishing, a custom-media firm in Allston, MA. I also worked at the Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, Lowell Sun, Teenage Magazine, and NewReview. On the Web, I launched BostonHerald.com and SmallBizResource.com. On that other side of the media fence, I was marketing and communications director for the Massachusetts Bar Association for several years, where I managed its publications, PR, membership marketing, advertising and promotions, and coordinated its annual conferences. I'm a three-time Iron Chef finalist (local only, thank you). And in previous lives, I was a rock 'n' roll drummer, funhouse operator, and dishwasher. |
