Introduction	As far back as i can remember, I see my mother sitting in her chair at night with some form of needlework in her hands. My hands too have always been into some form of art or needlework. My first job as a young girl was creating wreaths in a local flower shop. Little did I know then It was the start of what was to become my creative destiny. My love of rug hooking came many years ago at a street fair in Newtown, Pa. where an elderly woman was demonstrating this intriguing method of making rugs. She was kind enough to offer me an afternoon to learn whatever I could. Having a large and very young family at the time, I was frustrated not having the time to hone this craft so I retired it to the shelves of my deepest closet. Inevitably, I came across it again when my children didn't require so much of my time. Hooking for at least a few moments everyday brings me back to who I am and where I came from.
