| Introduction | A native of Bangalore(India), I received my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (IIT-M). I consider this experience as the most enlightening experience of my life. The sheer raw talent of the individuals and the multiple talents of each individual there helped me learn more from my class mates than I did from the academic curriculum. Not to mention the revelation that I was an average engineer but a better manager and businessman - which led me to my next destination - Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad(IIM-A). I work for a $2Billion endowment. My way of paying it forward - my education was possible only due to the scholarships and support from friends, especially Madan and Dileep. |
