Introduction | I love the Lord with all my heart and cant think of anything more fulfilling than getting to serve the Lord every day of my life. I am a missionary in Cape Town, South Africa to exploited women and anti-trafficking; recently adding street kids. I run a ministry called LelaloSA Ministries. We have a jewelry workshop, card workshop, counseling/mentoring/interning, social work, outreach, anti-trafficking projects, children's ministry, etc - more is being added all the time. I also consult for other ministries on how to run their NGO as a business and to be more effective. I also speak and do trainings. We are looking to open a coffee shop/ place to do outreach this next year. Things are quite exciting! |
Interests | Dancing, swimming, soccer, reading, crafts, playing my clarinet, writing, hiking, jogging, camping, white water rafting, adventure, travel, talking, learning about new cultures and people, trying new things, starting up projects, church, ice-cream, watching movies, braais, spending time with God, bowling, wii, there's not too much I don't like. |
Favorite Movies | This is a tough one - I am a HUGE movie buff! Facing the Giants, The Blind Side, We Bought a Zoo, Ever After, Wild Heart's Can't Be Broken, One Night with the King, End of the Spear, Joan of Arc, Save the Last Dance(all Dance movies), Drumline and so many more!! |
Favorite Music | I like most music. The majority being Christian (all diff styles). Though I love Rock - Bon Jovi is my fave, country, folk, irish, eclectic, etc, I find it unsatisfying to listen to things that aren't Spirit filled - lifting my soul, taking me to Jesus' arms and inspiring me to dance with Him. I can't get enough of it! |
Favorite Books | Redeeming Love; Every Woman's Battle; Love & Respect, Run with the Horses; The Bible (of course. Love Bill Johnson's books! |
Try making up the rules to a game where you tie knots in a yo-yo string just to see if you can get them out:
I must say: this one is quite brilliant. I wonder if my women would fall for it! Maybe their kids?
