| Introduction | Emi and Sterling are what happens when you send your kids to the same Church Camp as kids. Both of us attended Camp Lake Chi-KO, in Lake Geneva,WI as kids. We came to our Christian faith there, and as college students went back to serve as Camp Counselors. Fast Forward 8 years later, and a couple awkward phone calls, and you have two kids from Big Ten schools, and a shared Chicago Nikkei community dating one another. We find ourselves on a Journey to Japan as a result of some clearly GOD circumstances. In March 2011, we were in Japan for Asian Access Spring Retreat, and felt the 9.0 Earthquake. Although we were safe in the Mountains near Nagano, our lives have changed ever since. We've heard a calling to Japan to serve in partnership with Japanese communities as a sincere expression of our faith in God. |
| Interests | Emi- NU Wildcats football, cheesey 80's music, travel, listening to others, and cleaning. Sterling- Most anything WI Sports (Badgers, GB Packers, Brewers), hiking, outdoor activities, and anything but cleaning. G - Eating, creating chaos with toys, and making fun of my Grandma. |
