| Introduction | I'm a 42(29 if anyone asks) year old mom of a 7 yr old. I am going through my 2nd divorce. I count beans for a living, but my passion is writing. I plan on returning to school to get an MFA in Creative Writing soon. My blog is about the unique decision to get divorced, but still live with my husband in the same house. We made this decision for a number of reasons. In this economy it would be nearly impossible to sell our house and set up separate residences. We both feel bouncing our son back and forth between us for shared custody would be difficult for him. We both love his school and want to ensure that his childhood is as untouched by this decision as possible. I'm pretty much writing this to keep my emotional head above water while going through this. I am also writing it as a challenge to see if I actually have 365 Days worth of things to say on the subject. |
