Introduction	Deely was born in a Norwegian community in Eastern Washington. The rich traditions & beliefs of her Scandinavian background were woven into the simple life and beauty of the rolling wheat fields that influenced her distinctive creative expression. After raising 3 children & traveling Europe, Asia & Middle East, she owns Woman of Steel Gallery in Garden City, Idaho. It enjoys a widely acclaimed & award winning reputation since opening in June, 2003. In 2008 she embarked on an unusual 36 day tour with her large scale bronze piece, “Liberty Let’s Roll!” to New York. A sailing of the 4400# work on a barge around Liberty Is. was hosted by the NPS & documented by ABC TV. A second 2009 tour to The Alamo collected public comments about the meaning of liberty for inclusion in her book “Anatomy of a Dream". Deely continues working in bronze & plans a 3rd LLR Tour for 2010. The goal of inspiring others to discover their own unique creativity & embrace the freedom of following one’s dream continues to motivate her endeavors.
