| Introduction | Taking cues from fashion and beauty magazines, I first dabbled in the field of makeup artistry as a young girl. I have always found working with makeup meditative, almost therapeutic. I can leave the world behind, and focus. The form of self expression, intense color, the joy of challenge, and the challenge of endurance. The result, when it is over, is not how it is made, but what is made.
