Introduction	Since retirement I have been engaged in two major thrusts. First, I have focused on the Contemplative Path and have been greatly helped by the writing of Thomas Merton. Second, I have been engaged in interfaith work, seeking to help create a model interfaith city. This project of reflecting on the New Testament from an interfaith perspective is critical to future work. In the US Christianity has been the dominant religion. In the latter part of the 20th century other Faiths began emigrating to America. Those of different religions are not longer over there, they are next door, beside us at work, and in our schools, colleges and universities. Christians following Christ today must learn humility, that others know God also and they they should be accepted. This project is the result of writers reading the bible from an interfaith perspective.
