Interests	I am a happy woman, married to my loving, kind and generous husband, we have a wonderful married daughter, and a wonderful son and a beautiful new granddaughter. I adore my Family and am very blessed. I am a collector of china, fabric and object d'art. Singing plays a major part in my life. I am a Mezzo Soprano and have been singing all my life: at school, in choirs, in church, for family, friends,at parties, weddings, funerals and occasional gatherings. I love it. I can’t live without my cup of tea, I surround myself with beauty. I love making things and being creative. I enjoy old black and white films. I adore my home. I think handbags, as well as diamond's are a girl’s best friend. Blogs inspired me to start my own. I think music is without doubt food for the soul, I love dolls, dolls houses and children's toys, I think kindness is the answer to all Ills. I'm an avid reader. J'adore interior decoration. Christmas and Easter are very special to me. I like art and enjoy painting occasionally. I have started my family tree and hope to complete it someday soon with a little help from my many cousins. I love nature and all the beauty of the world that surrounds me. Each day I thank God for all the good in my life and for the privilege of living in such a wonderful world.
Favorite movies	Gone with the Wind, Ben Hur, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Life is Beautiful, Big Country, Rock Hudson and Doris Day films, All that Heaven allows, Random Harvest, Now Voyager, Little Foxes, The VIP's. Out of Africa MGM musicals like Singing in the Rain. All musicals: Les Miserables, Show Boat, South Pacific, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Phantom of the Opera, Calamity Jane, Desert Song etc.
Favorite music	I love all music, particularly,classical, W.A Mozart; F. Schubert; J.S Bach. Puccini and Verdi Operas. I adore Maria Callas singing 'Vissi d'arte' from Tosca and Katherine Jenkins singing Mozart's Laudate Dominum. The stunning score from Out of Africa. I also love musicals and The Big Band sound e.g Tommy Dorsey.
Favorite books	These are a few of my favourite books: Far from the Madding Crowd, Pollyanna, The Alchemist, Gone with the Wind, Pride and Prejudice, The Girl with the pearl earing, Creative Visualization, The Power, Tuesdays with Morrie. The Artist's Way. Books on Sewing/Quilting/Embroidery.
