| Introduction | was born with Cerebral Palsy, a brain abnormality that affects his ability to control many muscles in his body. This translates into his ability to sit, crawl, walk and talk. His diagnosis arrived just after his first birthday. Since then, he has participated in many forms of therapy, attended specialized nursery programs and leads a life that is subject to constant intervention to help learn new skills. The road to recovery involves many hours of work and daily therapy to help Thomas learn how to manipulate his body to do things that do not come naturally or easily to him. |
