Introduction Rob is the team manager for the ironhorse extreme mountain bike team that he set up and has raced for since 2004. His personal race history includes a long stint as an Elite cross country racer, two seasons of racing in New Zealand and Australia, solo 24-hour wins at Bontrager Twentyfour12, Spain Internacional 24 Horas de MTB and an age group title at the 2005 World 24-hour Championships. He has also won both Dusk 'til Dawn and Nightrider 12-hour solos as well as countless team and pairs races. Rob's most recent success was to smash the South Downs Double record, completing the 202 mile, 22,000 ft climb and descend ride in less than 21 hours. Rob has also worked on race course design, trail building, skills tuition and has coached numerous athletes to personal best performances.
