Introduction	I'm a mom, not a perfect one by far, but I love them with all that I am, so I hope that covers a lot of mistakes. I'm a painter and teacher, both of which give me great pleasure every day, and make a little to live on. I love to write and I use my painting and my writing as a springboard to motivate me and break through blocks in both areas.
Interests	being a mom and having fun with my husband and kids for as long as they'll let me! Painting, drawing, writing, reading, movies, nature, biking, traveling, music, gardening(badly), walking
Favorite Movies	Sideways, Almost Famous, Jack goes boating, Amelie, Good as it Gets, the Help, lot's of Alfred Hitchcock, A Christmas Carol, A Wonderful life, The Visitor, Christmas Vacation, Throw Mama from the Train, the Goonies
Favorite Music	Everything - Louie Armstrong, Willie Nelson, Norah Jones, Aerosmith, Tony Bennet, James Taylor, Sarah Mcloughlan, Vince Gill, Van Halen, Coldplay.... on and on. Do not like a lot of stuff from the late 60's and early 70's(with the exception of the Beatles) or the early 90's, other than that, most everything!
Favorite Books	Diaries- Ben Franklin, Samuel Sewell, Emily Dickenson, Martin Luther Early American history books: 1776, American Jezabel, The Midwife, Annie Dillard books, Gift of the Sea, by Anne Morrow Lindberg, Charlotte Bronte, Louisa May Alcott, Nathaniel Hawthorn, Shakespeare, Charles Dickens, Free Play by Nakmonovitch Not a big reader of fiction, but I like a lot of Maeve Binchy's books, loved "The Help", "Wrinkle in Time" by L'Engle was always a favorite and have discovered with my kids and fallen in love with the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling -brilliant and incredible writing!
