| Introduction | Welcome to my blog for my Etsy shop Moonshine Baby Creations, where a great deal of my inspiration for designs are charged with such influences as Folklore the wide world over, Middle Eastern & Bohemian influences, Egyptian Revival, Mythological creatures, Busby Berkeley, Silent Film, Carnival & Theater, and especially Art Nouveau & Deco styles and their later intersection with 1960's fashions in bold soda pop psychedelic colors. I am a huge enthusiast of the union between the Roaring 20's & the Swinging 60's, and try to incorporate it in much of my work. But over all, I have a deep appreciation for the beauty of bygone eras, which I enjoy sharing with vintage clothing, hand crafted accessories & artwork inspired by these exquisite yesteryears! I'm very proud to be a part of the wonderful and supportive community of artists I've found on Etsy, who are also bravely following their hearts & living out their own dreams by creating beautiful things. |
