| Introduction | I was born into a very active, large Mormon family as a 5th Generation Mormon. Related to Joseph Smith on my Father’s side and Brigham Young and Lorenzo Snow on my Mother’s side I grew up totally believing all the teachings and held various callings (aka church jobs). I went to the Mormon temple, went on a mission and married [in the Mormon temple] soon after I returned. In my thirties I left. That was two decades ago and I have many experiences and stories to share. I do not hate the Mormons. This is not an “anti Mormon” blog (Mormons are quick to label anyone who doesn’t happen to agree with them as such.) This blog is simply about what I experienced and learned in my search for truth. |
