Introduction	Our family is growing and changing every day. A happy, healthy toddler, Olivia, keeps us laughing and grateful for the team of doctors and nurses who led us to a successful IVF after a disappointing road of infertility. And here we are again...another IVF, another baby! Our son, Caden, was born during Hurricane Sandy...following in his father's footsteps of being born in a snowstorm. Caden has a very rare congenital heart defect called truncus arteriosus and underwent his first open heart surgery at three days old and is thriving. Even though none of this whole "family building" thing has been easy, but my husband and I are tough people and love each other a great deal. It makes all the difference. I hope this blog can be a place to share our experiences with friends and family, as well as connect with others who are going through similar journeys. For me, it's a place to document as many moments as possible before they slip into our history.
