| Introduction | I was a reporter at the Rocky Mountain News and have been a professional journalist for 15 years. It's been a great ride, sometimes literally. While working for the Orange County Register, I covered the O.J. Simpson chase. Other significant stories including going to Kosovo during the refugee crisis, going to India to cover the tsunami and reporting from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. During the 2008 Presidential campaign, I covered the Democratic National Convention, interviewed Barack Obama once and Sen. John McCain twice. Other notable interviews included former DNC Chair Howard Dean, Gov. Bill Richardson and former Clinton cabinet member Federico Pena. I have written thousands of stories in my career, risked my life a few times for it and never regretted a moment. |
