Introduction Paul is a novice chess player who has been playing most of his adult life. He expresses a real love and fascination for the game. The idea of taking chess situations and linking them up with theological concepts has been an interest. Reading Benjamin Franklin’s essay on the Morals of Chess has been an inspiration to develop ideas on Biblical concepts. Paul is the Principal of the College for Officer Training located in Chicago, Illinois. He holds a Doctorate in Ministry, a Masters in Pastoral Counseling, and a Bachelors degree in Psychology. He is married to Paula and has one son. He loves to talk about his two grandsons. Somehow they often show up in his devotionals.
