| Interests | I value dance and have no intention of criticizing work that is not my aesthetic. Therefore, I will never write about work that doesn't excite me. I do intend, however, to push work that I believe is heading in an exciting direction. My intention is not to lower the confidence of the artists who put themselves out there, but rather to elevate the art form by focusing on work that has the potential to do just that. I want to see artists pushing themselves, pushing audiences, experimenting with their own intentions, and basically helping to open up a broader definition of dance and in doing so challenging our perception of life and how we connect with each other on a human level.
