| Introduction | This blog was designed by Larry's family: Paula (wife), Valerie (daughter), Tim (son), and Kaylee (daughter). Larry is co-owner and chairman of the board of Aderhold Funeral Home in West, TX. He was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma (MM) in February 2011. MM is a malignant neoplasm (cancer) of the bone marrow. For Larry, treatments will include radiation (to reduce the size of the spinal mass and eleviate some of the pain he experiences), Revlimid (an immunomodulatory agent - oral chemotherapy), more intensive chemotherapy, and stem cell transplant. The treatment process will occur over a period of many months before he is able to get into remission. Please keep up with Larry's progress.
