Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I don't wear decorative scarfs because I always seen it as "transvestite-ish". If you are not wearing a scarf because it's cold outside, then you are trying to cover up your Adam's Apple. Call me crazy, I'm from NY. I've seen a lot - and I am not wearing a scarf.
