| Introduction | My name is Rachel Fuhrer and I am co-owner of Mercury Room Private Music Instruction located in Dripping Springs, Texas. I also play drums with various bands including Austin indie rockers UME, the mathy post-hardcore band WE'LL GO MACHETE, electro/pop/post-punk kids MANY BIRTHDAYS, and eclectic/electronic brainiacs ELECTRONIC PLANET ENSEMBLE. I also sit in with various bands around central Texas. I studied extensively under Rod Morgenstein and Jackie Santos Jr. at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. When I am not playing drums I love to hike, swim, cycle, watch indie films, build things in the garage, buy antiques, learn about design and art, BBQ and drink PBR. |
