| Introduction | I love travel and adventures. It's a privilege to be paid to do what I love. Some day I want to see Cuba, but not while the Castro brothers rule. My favorite musicians are Dylan, U2, Springsteen, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle, and a revolving list of others. I am an avid reader: have read every Charles Dickens book and read all the Harry Potters out loud to the kids. I cried when they were done, because it meant they were grown-up. I enjoy writing, too, but my blog is just for family and close friends. (If you are a reader though, I really enjoy comments.) Cooking is fun and so is knitting. I do not have much of a sweet tooth but sometimes I need chocolate. Life is too short to waste much of it on television. I walked out of the theater during the "Blues Brothers" and think "Dumb and Dumber" is unbearable, but Nick married me anyway. |
