| Introduction | My name is Eve, and my life is anything outside of ordinary. Breathe with me as I try to explain. I am: A Canadian living in American through a pandemic; my daughter was born in 2021; a military spouse separated by domestic violence; trying to navigate the immigration process while providing for her daughter; in treatment using EMDR for CPTSD stemming from childhood trauma. The more support groups I joined, I learned my story is not unique.
