Introduction	I am a retired teacher and artist living in the Pacific Northwest. My husband and I have three grown children and four grandchildren. I taught in our small school district my entire career except for nine years spent with our children when they were young. In this blog I am sharing my journey as an artist.
Interests	Family, Painting, Writing, Photography, Golf
Favorite movies	Lawrence of Arabia, escapism through comedy romances, The Trilogy, P and P and all other Jane Austen films, Elizabethtown.
Favorite music	Classical, especially Bach, Handel, Chopin and Beethoven, I'm new to appreciating Vivaldi and Mozart. Russian Choral Music from the Liturgy of St.John Chrystostom, the Beatles, Radiohead, Chris Cornell, Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Vittorio Grigoli, Irish music, just about anything else.
Favorite books	The Bible, The Way of the Pilgrim, Orthodoxy, anything by Jon Krakauer, Willa Cather, other books about mountain climbing and adventure because real life is so much more interesting than fiction, Journey Home stories, Catholic apologetics and the Catechism.
